Just an Update...

Hello All!

I just wanted to give you a quick update. Everything is wonderful here in Germany. Hopefully it is starting to get warmer! We haven't had snow in about 3 weeks, so I am anxiously awaiting spring! We finally bought a couch, it should be here in about 2-3 weeks. Josh and I are so happy to finally have a "comfortable" place to relax and unwind. We also bought the baby furniture! It is a natural wood finish with 3 pieces. The crib, changing table/dresser, and armiore. Josh and I love it and can't wait to put it together! We have another appointment at the end of March to get chaecked again, can't wait for the 3d/4d pictures! Anyway...that is pretty much it at the moment. I hope this message finds all of you well! Love and Hugs!!!

It's a...........

GIRL!!! Yes, you heard it here first! We are having a baby girl. We both looked at eachother and were speechless! The doctor says that everything is developing well, no gaps in the spine, no cleft pallet, the brain looks good. We even say her move and hickup! We are just so excited!

Berlin

Well, Josh whisked me off to Berlin on Sunday. It was a wonderful drive, about six and a half hours. We arrived at the Hotel Excelsior about eight in the evening. We got a bright and early start on Monday and took one of those city tours where you can hop on and hop off the bus. It was great! We got to see the whole city in one day. We were exhausted! Tuesday we got up and hit some more highlights of the city, then we went and saw the Blue Man Group at the theater in the Postdamer Platz, the city center. It was funny and interactive. We left in the morning on Wednesday and headed back home. All in all it was a great trip that we might have to repeat in the summer time. Here are a few pictures from our adventure.

This was a castle on the top of a hill somewhere between home and Berlin.

This was a church that was damaged in WWII which they left as a reminder.

Valentines Day Surprises! <3

Well, when I woke up this morning I felt at home again. Josh was right next to me again as he got back from his class last night. What a great feeling waking up to the person you love on Valentine's Day. He said to me, "Can you do me a favor?" I said of course. He said, "read this" and handed me a white envelope. I read the most beautiful words which ended with a clue written in rhyme. This clue sent me to the baby's room where I found the cutest stuffed cow (one I had seen in toys-r-us when we went shopping for the baby) and another clue. This clue led me to the kitchen where I found the BIGGEST assortment of my favorite candies (nerds, nerds rope, skittles, tropical skittles, fun dip, gummy bears, and some lindt chocolate). Wow am I gonna have a sugar high! The next clue led me to the bathroom where I found the Notebook and Pretty Woman, my favoritest sappy movies along with a spa brocure! Still there was another clue which sent me to the storage closet in the basement where I found a beautiful potted plant and a huge bouquet of roses. As if this wasn't enough, there was one final clue. It sent me to the living room where I found a gigantic body pillow! I have been saying I need one as it is now impossible for me to get comfortable while sleeping. I ran in and gave Josh the biggest hug and kiss. Then I asked about the spa brocure, he said he got me a maternity massage for wednesday or thursday this week. Can you believe it! I am engaged to the most wonderful person in the world! I know that this is a long winded story, but you can't appreciate it without all of the little details!
After I was done reveling over my gifts, I looked outside and it had snowed several inches and was still snowing! What a perfect Valentines Day!!! <3

This is a picture of a few of my gifts. Isn't the cow adorable?!?!

The view off the balcony this morning. It was just one of those mornings you want to rewind and play all over again!

We didn't get to cuddle and love on eachother long, Josh had to go to work this morning. I am so thankful to have him in my life.

Here he is driving to work in our new car. I can't wait for him to come back home so we can pop some popcorn and relax on the couch!

Well, as you can see my Valentine's Day has been one for the record books! I hope that ya'lls is memorable and fun! Have a great weekend! XOXO

Baby Room

Well, I finally got everything moved out of the Baby room. This was originally the office, but surprises happen, lol! It is the smallest room in the house, but it is the warmest room because it is in the middle of the house with none of the outside walls exposed to direct wind. I cannot wait to start getting it filled with baby stuff. Josh and I are anxious to start decorating. We think that we have found our baby room set and so I will go to the store soon a post a pic. We haven't fully decided, but we will know by the end of the month.

Baby Room

So far this is the only stuff we have in the Baby Room. We are slowly stocking up on diapers and soon we will start buying the essentials. We are so excited!

This is the color pallet I have chosen. Along with the Classic Winnie the Pooh I like these colors. Classic Winnie the Pooh has sage and light yellow. This color pallet is light lime green, sage, mauve, light pink, light turquoise, brown, light gold, and light golden yellow. I want to mix colors like this into the Pooh theme in order for the theme to not be so overbearing. I have several ideas for decorating but want to wait until we get some of the basics in the room.

Our Home

Ok, I have slowed down decorating the house in order to start putting my creative juices to work on the baby room. I wanted to show a few pics of other parts of the house I have not posted. Slowly I am adding and arranging to make this house a "Home".

This is to the left of the front door. Of course you can see its purpose, to hang our keys!

This is the window in our bedroom.

This is our bedroom. We have not switched the beds out yet but we will soon. Josh made a cute headboard that I love. We will us this until we can buy a new set.

This is the dinning room. I love the fact that I can get really fresh and beautiful flowers for cheap here. That means I can have them all the time. It makes the room springy which is nice when it is too cold to go outside.
