Berlin

Well, Josh whisked me off to Berlin on Sunday. It was a wonderful drive, about six and a half hours. We arrived at the Hotel Excelsior about eight in the evening. We got a bright and early start on Monday and took one of those city tours where you can hop on and hop off the bus. It was great! We got to see the whole city in one day. We were exhausted! Tuesday we got up and hit some more highlights of the city, then we went and saw the Blue Man Group at the theater in the Postdamer Platz, the city center. It was funny and interactive. We left in the morning on Wednesday and headed back home. All in all it was a great trip that we might have to repeat in the summer time. Here are a few pictures from our adventure.

This was a castle on the top of a hill somewhere between home and Berlin.

This was a church that was damaged in WWII which they left as a reminder.

Me in the snow/rain waiting to get into the Reichstag. The first day there was miserable weather, but great site seeing!
